By analysing personal communication skills, participants will be able to develop a range of communication techniques to achieve effective working relationships.

Objectives

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

* Identify positive and negative communication styles.
* Use Transactional Analysis to recognise the effect of a variety of communication styles.
* Demonstrate effective listening skills and techniques.
* Phrase questions in a way that enables relationship building and empathetic listening to occur.
* Use effective communication skills to solve problems.
* Use positive forms of communication to help develop effective working relationships with others
* Deal with conflict in a positive manner and work towards win-win solutions.
